It’s finally time to schedule dinner for everyone who made the Island Cotton sweater – I’m sure you folks thought we forgot about dinner. Well we haven’t – just waiting for Diann to be finished – So let’s pick a Thursday evening -
A lot of us were able to start our sweaters last week (week of Oct. 16). Some were unable for various reasons, but they are picking up their yarn this week and hopefully will do their GAUGE SWATCH first – even if I am not there to enforce the swatch laws!!
I did my swatch & started my sweater so I could knit on the train to NYC Sunday.
The first don’t do what I did hint: Don’t talk & forget that the button holes go in at 7 inches!!
To quote someone near & dear to me -”It’s not fun to rip out perfectly good knitting!!” At least it wasn’t over a couple of rows – and the sweater really does knit up fast.
Let us know how you are doing!!
